Capt. Baki Ceylan is a Fort Schuyler (New York City) graduate with a Master of Science degree in International Transportation Management. Prior to that, he earned his Bechelor's degree in Marine Transportation from Istanbul Technical University, Maritime in Turkey. With over 20 years at sea and ashore, Capt. Baki   has acquired extensive experience in all aspects of the international shipping industry through his proven experience on various sizes of ocean-going bulk carriers, and later on shore-side in ship chartering, and finally in marine inspections.

INSPEX Marine's policy is to provide the highest level of marine services to Ship Owners, Charterers, Insurance companies, Shippers, P&I Clubs and other organizations in the maritime industry. The services we provide extend to areas of compliance, insurance, stowage and regulations.

INSPEX Marine has also been nominated on a regular basis for scrap metal quality inspections, as surveyor of record, for deep sea export contracts at most of the U.S. East Coast and Gulf ports. In addition, INSPEX Marine has a capacity to carry out scrap metal quality inspections in overseas countries.
